At Layer-de-la-Haye Primary School, collective worship is at the heart of our community, inspired by our vision of "Growing together in joy" and rooted in the Christian ethos of the Church of England. Our daily acts of worship provide an invitational, inclusive, and inspiring space for pupils and staff to reflect, pray and explore spiritual and moral values. Through Bible stories, hymns, prayer and reflection, we nurture the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our school community. Worship is carefully planned around our eight Christian values, with themes that encourage respect, compassion, truthfulness, and hope. We also foster strong links with St John the Baptist Church, celebrating key Christian festivals together. Our worship is designed to be accessible to all and aims to create a calm and purposeful atmosphere where everyone can grow spiritually and flourish.
