Agents of Change
At Layer Primary School, we are committed to fostering a culture of social justice and responsibility within our community. As part of this commitment, we are proud to be involved in the "Agents of Change" project, which was founded by St Lawrence Primary School, Rowhedge, and is part of the Tiptree and Stanway Consortium.
Our aim is to empower the children of Layer Primary School by helping them understand that they have the ability to make a positive impact on the world around them. Through this project, we provide them with the opportunity, tools, and motivation to become active agents of change, championing social justice, inclusion, and fairness in their own lives and beyond.
By engaging with this initiative, our children not only learn about the importance of social responsibility, but also gain the confidence to challenge injustice and contribute to a better, more compassionate world for all.

Key Message For Children
"How am I making a positive change, either in myself or in others?"
We encourage all our children to reflect on this question every time they face a challenge. It's a reminder that each action, no matter how small, can make a difference. Whether it's showing kindness, standing up for what’s right, or helping others, every step counts in creating a better world for everyone.
